Job Overview
IVIS is seeking a skilled Flusher Truck Operators to join our construction and heavy equipment team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating specialized flushing trucks to maintain and clean underground pipelines and infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy machinery, mechanical systems, and construction site safety protocols. The Flusher Truck Operator plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of projects involving pipeline maintenance, paving, and other construction activities.
Responsibilities
- Operate flusher trucks to clean and maintain pipelines, utilizing hydraulic and mechanical systems effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on flushing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to schedule flushing operations according to project timelines.
- Safely operate additional heavy equipment such as excavators, and backhoe as needed.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of work zones, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly and efficiently.
- Support other construction activities including horizontal drilling, paving, and site preparation when required.
- Maintain detailed records of operations, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment including flusher trucks, excavators, and backhoes.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience in commercial driving.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery or similar brands is preferred.
- Skills in horizontal drilling and construction site operations are a plus.
- Ability to operate specialized equipment for relining is desirable.
- Strong safety awareness with the ability to follow all safety protocols on-site.

Pay: $31.25-$38.75 per hour
