Job Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking yard worker/driver to join our team. As a yard worker/driver, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks to support recycling operations.
Start date as soon as possible
Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor duties such as recycling waste handler work
- Regulate the flow of load materials on conveyor belts
- Operate hand tools and power equipment as needed
- The ability to work quickly and steadily for an entire shift
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently
- Driving trucks and delivery and pick up of roll off bins
- Remove junk and unwanted items from various locations, including homes, units, and apartments, as required
Skills:
- Valid class 3 License
- Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks
- The ability to remain alert while doing routine, repetitive tasks
- The ability to manage work on conveyor belts without getting motion sickness
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power equipment is preferred
