Clover Property Care is hiring an experienced Property Maintenance Crew Lead / Driver to join our team in Etobicoke.
This role is ideal for someone who has landscaping or property maintenance experience and is ready to take responsibility for driving the company vehicle, leading another crew member and completing residential jobs to a high standard.
The position will begin as part-time seasonal work, with the opportunity for increased hours and a longer-term role for the right person.
Pay
$28 to $30 per hour.
Starting pay is $28 per hour. Pay may increase to $30 per hour once you can independently drive the company vehicle, lead the crew and complete scheduled jobs without the owner being present.
Responsibilities
- Drive the company work vehicle between customer properties
- Safely tow and manoeuvre a utility trailer
- Lead and work alongside another crew member
- Review job instructions and complete the quoted scope of work
- Perform lawn mowing, yard cleanups, weeding, hedge and shrub trimming, gutter cleaning, pressure washing and other property maintenance services
- Load, unload and organize tools and equipment
- Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers and other equipment
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Take clear before-and-after photographs
- Identify additional work that is outside the original job scope
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, trailer and work area
- Follow all safety procedures and protect customer property
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G driver’s licence
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a cargo van and towing a trailer
- Previous landscaping, lawn care or property maintenance experience
- Previous crew lead or supervisory experience is preferred
- Reliable and available on weekdays
- Able to work independently and make good decisions
- Professional and respectful with customers and coworkers
- Physically capable of lifting at least 50 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Able to arrive on time for morning starts in Etobicoke
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Approximately 8:00 a.m. start
- Finish times may vary depending on the work scheduled
- Part-time seasonal position with the possibility of full-time hours
Clover Property Care provides residential lawn care, yard cleanups and exterior property maintenance services throughout Etobicoke and nearby areas.
