Job Summary
Golf Park is an indoor golf simulator facility, and we are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Receptionist/Customer Service Associate to join our team.
The successful candidate will welcome customers, manage bookings, guide guests to their simulator rooms, and assist them with setting up and using the golf simulator equipment. This role also includes processing payments and serving food and alcoholic beverages.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, patient, comfortable with technology, and able to provide excellent customer service in a busy and social environment. Golf knowledge or previous experience with golf simulators is an asset but is not required, as training will be provided.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service
- Confirm customer bookings and guide guests to their assigned simulator rooms
- Set up golf simulator equipment and explain how to use the system
- Assist customers with equipment or simulator issues during their booking
- Manage reservations made by phone, online, or in person
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer questions regarding bookings, pricing, and facility services
- Process customer payments accurately at the end of each booking
- Serve food, non-alcoholic beverages, and alcoholic beverages
- Check customer identification when serving alcohol and follow all liquor service regulations
- Monitor booking times and help ensure rooms are ready for the next group
- Clean and reset simulator rooms after customers leave
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and customer service area
- Handle customer concerns calmly and professionally
- Complete opening and closing duties as required
- Support other team members during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, restaurant, or retail is preferred
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using computers, online booking systems, and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to learn and explain golf simulator equipment
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to handle customer concerns professionally
- Must be legally eligible to serve alcohol in Alberta
- ProServe certification is required or must be obtained before starting work
- Golf knowledge or golf simulator experience is an asset but not required
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
