Job Summary
As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and food safety. You'll work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during breakfast, lunch, dinner, tournaments, weddings, and special events.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Help with kitchen prep, cleaning, and closing duties.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to provide excellent service during regular dining hours and special events.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
