Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Siding Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing various types of siding on residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently on diverse projects. Candidates with experience in blueprint reading, carpentry, and the use of power tools will thrive in this position.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine siding installation requirements.
- Measure and cut siding materials accurately using hand tools and power tools.
- Install various siding materials such as vinyl, wood, fiber cement, or metal siding according to specifications.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for material handling or site preparation.
- Perform related tasks including restoration work, cabinet installation, and construction painting when required.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and maintain a clean work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in siding installation or related construction fields such as carpentry or masonry.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Prior experience with caulking, different types of Siding, blue skin, Tyvek is a bonus
Pay: $28.00-$42.00 per hour
