Job Summary
We are seeking experienced hourly Commercial Drywall Tapers to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces on commercial projects, ensuring a smooth, professional appearance that meets industry standards. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment. Prior construction experience and familiarity with various finishing techniques are highly valued.
Duties
- Apply joint compound and tape to drywall seams and corners, ensuring a seamless finish.
- Sand and smooth drywall surfaces to prepare for painting or further finishing..
- Use hand tools such as taping knives, sanders, and trowels to achieve desired results.
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in drywall taping
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and adherence to safety guidelines are essential.
