We are a busy neighborhood Restaurant serving high quality food- Established in 2014 and rated top 5 in the east end of Toronto. We are looking for a new member for our culinary team. We are a seafood centric restaurant, that is expanding Hours and are requiring an experienced cook/or Jr sous.
We are a small respectful kitchen and require somebody who is a fast learner, passionate about food, creative, good communicator, work independently and a strong team player. We like to change our menu often so you would be collaborating with Chef to create menus, and deliver a product that we all are proud of.
Our hours are manageable and stable and kitchen closes at 930pm to have work/life balance, and we have Lunch and Brunch on the weekends starting at 11 am.
We try to provide all the tools, techniques and information to make successful busy service seem easy. We are flexible and every system is developed to work for every team member.
majority of the team is from the east coast of Canada and really pride ourselves on making work enjoyable, and relaxed atmosphere when you can be yourself and have the freedom to contribute for all the team to succeed.
Job Description and Experience:
- Knowledge and experience at least 2/3 years in a reputable Kitchen
- Passion for food and hospitality
- Ability to take initiative and exhibit flexibility
- A motivated and energetic personality
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends.
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral form
Schedule:
- Days and some evenings
- We are Closed Mondays and Sunday Evenings

Pay: 21 - 23 per hour plus tips - Ranges with experience
