The Park Place Lodge is currently seeking enthusiastic, friendly, and motivated individuals to join our Spirits Cold Beer & Wine Store team.
Our Retail Sales Associates are valued members of our team who are responsible for providing the finest quality of service to our beer store customers.
This is a Full Time position - must be available to work 5 x shifts per week including days, evenings and weekends.
Candidates must hold VALID WORK PERMIT and BC Serving It Right Certificate
Our current position will be ideal for a candidate who is comfortable working with the public.
The duties of this position include:
- Receiving stock deliveries/orders
- Stocking inventory
- Greeting Customers
- Answering inquiries (by telephone and in person)
- Product recommendations
- Use of point of sale, finalizing transactions
- Daily cash handling
- Opening and Closing duties
- General cleaning
Job Requirements: Our ideal candidate for this position will:
- Have strong organizational skills
- Be self motivated
- Have a positive attitude and demeanour
- Be able to work unsupervised
- General knowledge of alcoholic products
- Be comfortable working under pressure and through periods of high customer demand
- Have valid BC Serving It Right Certificate
- Have valid work authorization to work in Canada
Prior experience is preferred, but not essential.
