Nova Drywall, a trusted drywall contractor delivers high-quality finishes on commercial and residential construction projects across the Lower Mainland. We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Site Drywall Assistant Supervisor to join our team.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Drywall Assistant Supervisor to support our site operations team. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a leadership position within the construction industry while gaining hands-on experience across large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular quality control inspections of installed work
- Document site progress through photos, daily reports, and tracking logs
- Track and communicate changes, deficiencies, and extras to the project team
- Assist with site layout, sequencing, and task planning
- Support deficiency walks and project close-out processes
- Maintain clear communication with Project Managers and office staff
Qualifications & Experience
- Min. 2 years of experience in construction (drywall/framing experience is required)
- Previous supervisory or foreman experience is an advantage
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Ability to identify quality issues and ensure high standards of workmanship
- Proficient with basic documentation tools (photos, reports, Excel, Procore etc.)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices (e.g., WorkSafeBC)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Assets (Nice to Have)
- Experience on large multi-family or commercial projects
- Familiarity with change order tracking and cost impacts
- Experience using project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
- First Aid certification
