We are currently seeking a trainer in our Commercial AZ/DZ Drive Program for our Training School. Successful candidate must hold a valid Commercial AZ Drivers Licence with a minimum 5 years experience.
Job Summary/Responsibilities
Teach students using a systematic plan of lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups, hands-on range sessions, and drive shifts.
In Class
- Prepare students for in field operations
- General safety training
- Teach relevant materials in compliance with MLITSD curriculum
- Safe operating procedures, inspections and maintenance techniques in compliance with Mandatory Entry Levels Training requirements.
- Keep a log of students hours in class and field
- Work with training team to schedule students training hours and manage weekly intake within schedule
In Field
- General safety training
- Pre-trip and inspection procedures
- Provide driver training with students one-on-one and in groups
- Ensure a safe, clean, reliable training vehicles. Pre-check vehicles well in advance of training in order to have necessary repairs completed
Requirements
- Commercial AZ Driver with 4 years experience OR 2 years experience and college degree
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Professional attitude
- Ability to communicate information respectively and effectively with students
Salary
- Commensurate with experience
