Position Type: Part-Time
Hours: Must be available 7 days a week between 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Average shifts are 4–7hours, with scheduling based on hotel occupancy and operational requirements. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Key Responsibilities
As a Housekeeper, you play an important role in ensuring every guest room and public space meets the high standards of the Best Western Cowichan Valley Inn.
Guest Rooms, Public Areas & Property Standards
- Clean and service guest rooms to hotel and Best Western brand standards.
- Change linens, make beds, replenish towels, toiletries, and guest amenities.
- Vacuum, dust, sanitize, and clean bathrooms, bedrooms, and guest areas.
- Inspect rooms to ensure they are clean, operational, well presented, and guest ready.
- Report damage and defects as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness of public areas and assigned workspaces.
- Keep housekeeping carts, storage areas, and supply rooms clean and organized.
- Follow hotel policies, Best Western brand standards, and health and safety procedures.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and safety concerns promptly.
Teamwork
- Work closely with the Front Desk to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests.
- Support fellow housekeeping team members during busy periods.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful workplace.
Additional Responsibilities
Hospitality is a team environment where flexibility is important. Employees may be asked to perform other duties that are reasonably related to the Housekeeper position, including assisting with laundry, cleaning public areas, or supporting other operational needs during busy periods.
