Rehab First Inc. is currently seeking a Registered Physiotherapist to join our team in the London area to support our growing client base through community-based service delivery. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Rehab First is one of Ontario's largest multidisciplinary assessment and treatment organizations, with a growing team of approximately 120 professionals specializing in a variety of disciplines. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide client-centered assessments and treatments for a variety of injuries and conditions in community-based settings.
- Develop OCF-18 plans in compliance with Ontario's Statutory Accident Benefits (SABS)
- Collaborate with referral sources and funders to meet clients' needs
- Maintain accurate client records, assessment notes, and additional required documentation
- Educate clients and their families where applicable
- Work collaboratively with Rehab First team members and service providers
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Physiotherapy or related discipline
- Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario in good-standing.
- Experience with diverse age groups
- Superior communication, problem-solving, time management and documentation skills.
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to manage a busy and varied caseload.
- Ability to deliver exceptional client-centered assessments and treatments for a variety of injuries and conditions in a clinical environment.
- Maintain complete and accurate client records, assessment notes and required correspondence.
- Valid G driver's license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (dated within the last 6 months prior to hire date)
- Valid CPR certification
- 1-5 years of experience in healthcare or community-based setting (preferred)
- Experience with Ontario's Statutory Accident Benefits (SABS) and WSIB POCSs (preferred)
- Experience with occupational and non-occupational injuries (preferred)
