Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking dishwasher to join our fast-paced kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping our kitchen running smoothly by maintaining clean dishes, utensils and cookware, as well as assisting with basic kitchen cleanliness and food prep support if needed.
Key Responsabilities
- Dish & Warewashing: Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher, wash pots, pans and cutlery, and to ensure all items are sanitized and stocked efficiently.
- Station Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and sanitary dish station, empty trash bins regularly and sweep and mop the floors at the end of every shift.
- Food Prep Support: Assist the back-of-house team with basic, routine prep tasts if needed during the busy rush hours.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with line cooks, servers and sushi chefs to ensure smooth daily service.
Qualifications & Requirments
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable and able to show up on time for scheduled shifts.
- Endurance: Ability to stand for long periods of time during shifts and ability to lift and stack dish racks and large stock pots.
- Availability: Flexibility to work 5 evenings per week minimum, especially weekends. Holidays if needed.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
