Apex Distribution Inc. is seeking a Journeyman/Journeywoman Pipefitter to join our Valve Service team in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Apex is a dynamic oilfield supply and service company, proudly recognized as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies.
This role is suited for a safety-focused, skilled tradesperson with strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with valves and related equipment in both shop and field environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and assess valves and related equipment
- Disassemble, repair, recondition, and reassemble components
- Perform installation, removal, and hydrostatic testing of valves
- Complete both shop-based and field service work as required
- Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
What You Bring:
- Journeyman Pipefitter certification
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
- Ability to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol and Physical Abilities testing

Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
