Overview
We are seeking a dedicated In-House Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, towels, and guest laundry to ensure a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Duties
- Operate commercial laundry equipment efficiently, including washers and dryers
- Sort, fold, and organize linens, towels, and guest laundry items
- Ensure all laundry is cleaned according to hotel standards and protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and equipment to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and linens
- Follow safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation
- Support other housekeeping tasks as needed to uphold overall cleanliness standards
Experience
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Experience with laundry operations or cleaning services is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is advantageous
