Fish & Chips All-Rounder Wanted — Experienced Only!
We need a reliable, hard-working person with restaurant or takeaway experience — especially working with fryers. You’ll be responsible for opening and closing the shop alone, handling everything from cooking and serving to cleaning and cash — fast and without cutting corners.
Must have:
- Proven experience working in a restaurant or takeaway kitchen, specifically with fryers
- Ability to work independently, including opening and closing the shop
- Work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Excellent attitude — hardworking, honest, and dependable
- Willingness to follow instructions and maintain high cleanliness and food safety standards
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings and late nights
Responsibilities:
- Opening duties: Prepare the kitchen, start fryers, prep ingredients, set up the counter
- Cooking & serving: Prepare fish, chips, and menu items to high standards; serve customers politely and efficiently
- Closing duties: Clean kitchen and equipment thoroughly, restock ingredients, secure cash, and close the shop properly
- Manage ingredient prep and stock control throughout shift
- Handle cash and take orders accurately
Casual position with pay based on experience.

Pay: $17.30-$18.00 per hour
