Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Locksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various locking systems and security devices. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure the safety and security of our clients' properties. The Locksmith will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service in a timely manner.
Duties
- Install, repair, and replace locks, safes, and other security devices on residential, commercial, or industrial properties
- Conduct lockout services for clients who are locked out of their premises
- Perform maintenance on existing locking systems to ensure optimal operation
- Assess security needs and recommend appropriate locking solutions
- Cut keys and program electronic access systems as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical and electronic locking mechanisms
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
- Accessible door operator install and maintenance
Experience
- Proven experience as a Locksmith or in a similar role within the security or maintenance industry
- Knowledge of mechanical locks, electronic access control systems, safes, and master key systems
- Ability to operate locksmith tools and equipment efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance
- Prior experience with key cutting machines and programming electronic locks is advantageous
