The Guest Service Agent at Residence Inn Halifax serves as the first point of contact for our guests and property ambassador. Specific duties include:
- Welcome guests and provide efficient check-in and check-out services.
- Process reservations, cancellations, and room changes accurately.
- Answer guest inquiries regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest account records.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and online inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and security standards.
Qualifications include:
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or front desk operations preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with hotel property management systems is an asset.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay: $16.75-$17.00 per hour
