In the concession attendant role, it is expected that all Berry Barn staff will treat everyone with whom she/he interacts with respect and dignity. Your safety is the highest priority at the Berry Barn. The individual is very energetic, friendly and loves to take care of the customer and fellow employees. The employee is detailed oriented with an ability to multitask in a calm and collected manner. The individual is able to create memorable experiences for guests ensuring their return. The concession attendant should anticipate the busy periods and be ready to meet the demands. The concession attendant will use slower times to accomplish tasks relating to extra or deep cleaning, stocking and performing other preparatory work. .
Key Responsibilities:
- Always speak in a measured and pleasant manner and greet every employee and guest of the Berry Barn with a smile.
- Scooping Ice Cream
- Assisting kids on pedal go carts
- Driving a train for a short toured ride
- Be receptive to learning new tasks within concession operations.
- Ensure all food is stored and handled to Food Safe Standards.
- Ensure work area is kept clean and in excellent working condition.
- Follow safety training in regard to proper lifting, carrying and moving of materials.
Key Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of various cash registers.
- Self-motivated.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptive and able to work in a dynamic work environment in a variety of roles.
- Excited to work with the team and assist other associates whenever possible or needed.
- Enthusiastic, creative team member, able and excited to participate in the Berry Barn community life.
