As our Property Development & Asset Management Lead, you'll help guide projects from concept through construction and into successful operation.

About the Foundation
The Red Deer Homeless Foundation is a community-led organization focused on preventing and reducing homelessness through collaboration, housing development, strategic partnerships, and community leadership.
We serve as a community convener—bringing together governments, developers, service providers, Indigenous communities, businesses, and funders to create practical housing solutions that improve lives.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you'll lead the coordination of the Foundation's growing property portfolio and capital development projects.
Working with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, municipalities, operators, and funding partners, you'll help move projects from planning and acquisition through development, occupancy, and long-term asset management.

What You'll Do
You'll play a key role in:
- Coordinating housing development and capital projects
- Supporting property acquisitions and due diligence
- Managing leases, contracts, and consultant agreements
- Coordinating project schedules, budgets, risks, and milestones
- Working with municipalities, government agencies, consultants, contractors, and community partners
- Supporting procurement, permitting, and regulatory approvals
- Preparing reports and recommendations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors
- Developing systems to support property and asset management
- Monitoring asset performance and supporting long-term capital planning

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be considered an asset:
- Property development
- Construction or project management
- Commercial real estate
- Property or asset management
- Facilities management
- Municipal planning or infrastructure
- Contract administration
- Housing or nonprofit development
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Compensation
A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package will be provided, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
