Job Summary
We are seeking vigilant and dependable Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of our premises. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, ideal for individuals committed to maintaining a secure environment. The role involves monitoring property, preventing loss, and responding promptly to incidents, utilizing surveillance systems and security protocols. Candidates with backgrounds in law enforcement or experience with CCTV and loss prevention are highly encouraged to apply.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Observe and report any unusual or criminal activity using surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras
- Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to alarms or emergency situations
- Monitor security systems and perform routine checks on access points and security devices
- Document incidents thoroughly in reports and communicate effectively with management or law enforcement when necessary
- Enforce company policies regarding access control and loss prevention measures
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, surveillance, loss prevention, or security preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and security monitoring techniques
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays if needed
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass background checks and any required training or certifications
Pay: $15.29-$17.00 per hour
