ABMK Engineering is an Alberta-based consulting engineering firm specializing in:
- Bridge rehabilitation and replacement design
- Culvert rehabilitation and replacement design
- Bridge inspections and condition assessments
- Construction administration and field reviews
- Municipal and transportation infrastructure projects

What You'll Do
This role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle and opportunities to develop both technical and professional skills.
Responsibilities may include:
- Bridge and culvert rehabilitation and replacement design
- Structural analysis and engineering calculations
- Preparation of engineering reports, specifications, and contract documents
- Bridge inspections and condition assessments
- Project coordination and client communication
- Proposal preparation and project development
- Construction administration and field reviews
- Coordination with survey, geotechnical, environmental, and construction teams
One week you may be developing a bridge rehabilitation design, the next week conducting a site inspection, meeting with a client, supporting a proposal, or assisting during construction.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered with APEGA, or eligible for registration with APEGA
- Minimum 5 years of bridge/culvert engineering experience
- Experience with bridge/culvert assessment, rehabilitation, design, and construction administration.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel occasionally within Alberta
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Alberta Transportation projects
- BIM inspection experience
- Project management experience
- Construction administration and field review experience
- Proposal writing experience
- Experience with Midas Civil, Mathcad, AutoCAD, or similar engineering software
