About the Role
This position is responsible for the planning, organization, execution and the completion of the scope of identified work in each new store, relocation and renovation project. To accomplish this, you will partner with both internal (Ops, Visual, Marketing, HR, LP) and external partners (landlords, mall management, construction partners, vendors, etc.) for all construction projects. You will conduct site visits as required to prepare scope of work and coordinate details of store signage, shop drawings and obtain landlord approval. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing and updating the budget as needed while respecting the approval process.
What You Offer
- Background in retail store construction/project management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively
- Knowledge of architectural, mechanical and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of construction industry terms and protocols
- Working knowledge of retail design practices and processes
- Ability to problem solve through creative solutions
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft office, Illustrator, Adobe
- Flexibility to travel within Canada
