Our client is a well-established, privately held general contractor with 40 years of history delivering ICI construction across the GTA - spanning airport, retail/commercial interiors, and ground-up new builds. Known for delivering complex projects with discipline and integrity, they have established themselves as a trusted name in their sector. As they continue to scale their project portfolio, they're looking for a
General Superintendent to lead their Site Teams and raise the bar on consistency, quality, and leadership across every active site.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who wants to build systems and people, not just run a single site. You'll take ownership of Site Supervisor performance and development, standardize QA/QC expectations across projects, and be a key voice connecting site execution to broader business goals.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and hold Site Supervisors (Senior/Intermediate/Junior) accountable across multiple active projects
- Oversee daily site operations spanning airport, retail/commercial interiors, and ground-up builds
- Conduct site visits to enforce QA/QC standards, schedule adherence, and corporate expectations
- Review 2-week lookaheads and manpower planning with project teams
- Support financial performance and risk mitigation across projects
- Approve site hours and monitor labour productivity
- Champion safety standards and COR compliance
- Coach, mentor, and performance-manage site leadership
- Represent the site team in tender, client, and internal construction meetings
- Report on project risks and key data to senior leadership
What You Bring:
- 10+ years' experience as a General Superintendent
- Strong background in ICI, retail, commercial interiors, and ground-up/new build construction
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
- Demonstrated success developing and leading Site Supervisors
- Confident communicator across client, site, and leadership levels
- Strong coaching and performance management skills
- Solid grasp of construction sequencing and scheduling
- Strong knowledge of Ontario safety regulations and COR programs
