What You'll Do
As a Cook, you will:
- Prepare ingredients and execute menu items according to recipes and standards
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation in every dish
- Set up, stock, and break down stations for service
- Stay organized and prepared throughout busy service periods
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Keep workstations, kitchen and storage areas clean and organized throughout each shift
- Assist with prep, inventory, and daily kitchen tasks as required
- Work collaboratively with chefs, cooks, dishwashers, and front-of-house team members
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and professional kitchen culture
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of restaurant kitchen experience preferred
- Culinary education is an asset but not required
- Strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food Handler Certification is an asset
