Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring high-quality food service and excellent customer satisfaction. Duties
- Open the restaurant in the morning at 5:00 am and prepare for opening at 6:00 am
- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards
- Serve food promptly and courteously to guests or servers
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages or needs
- Follow food safety protocols at all times to prevent contamination or spoilage
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
