Senior Attorney
With experience in mining and capital markets regulation (TSX)
Objective
Strengthen our in-house legal team for a TSX-listed mining issuer, optimizing compliance, international contracts, and complex cross-border transactions.
Location and work model
Remote within Canada.
Multi-jurisdictional operations (Canada and Latin America).
Canadian residency and active legal licensing required.
Mandatory requirements
Credentials:
- Law Degree (LL.B. / J.D.)
- Active member of a Canadian Law Society.
Experience:
- 10+ years of legal practice, specializing in mining corporate law and advising TSX-listed companies.
Securities expertise:
- Deep command of the Canadian framework:
- NI 51-102
- NI 52-109
- MI 61-101
- TSX Company Manual
- NI 43-101 (Mineral Projects)
Contracts and deals:
- Expert in drafting complex mining contracts (royalties, offtake, joint ventures) and managing cross-border M&A.
Languages:
- Full English fluency (required).
- Spanish (required).
