Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Door & Hardware Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining doors, locks, hinges, and related hardware across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that all installations meet , specifications, and quality expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse project, utiliize your skills in construction and carpentry, and contribute to creating secure and functional spaces.
Responsibilities
- Install, adjust, and repair doors, frames, locks, hinges, handles, and other hardware components according to project specifications and schematics
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure precise placement and alignment of hardware systems
- Use jigsaws, routers, drills, grinders. , multi-tools, and and various hand tools
- jigs, gauges and levels to complete installations efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high safety standards
- Conduct restoration work on existing door systems or hardware as needed for renovations or repairs
- Apply construction painting or sealing techniques like caulking to enhance durability and finish quality
- Apply previous experience with wood and stud wall, construction, drywall, finishing and trim when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience with hand tools and basic construction techniques
- Strong background in construction or carpentry with the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
- Knowledge of door hardware installation procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various physical environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise hardware placement
