Key Qualifications & Attributes
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fi eld.
- CPHR / CHRL designation preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience at a senior or Director level.
- Experience in a professional services or partnership environment is an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
- Strong judgment, political acumen, and ability to influence across diverse stakeholder groups
Knowledge Skills & Attributes
- A proven track record in working collaboratively as a member of a team.
- Ability to effectively work with decision makers to achieve solutions to unique and complex problem.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters diplomatically and discreetly; and proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
- Administrative and human resource management skills;
- Experience with Dayforce and Manulife is considered an asset.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with several Staffing Committees and the Management Team; the Director serves as both a strategic advisor and an operational leader. The role supports the fi rm’s long term growth while proactively mitigating employment, cultural, and organizational risk across a multi office law firm.
