Job Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator will support the Marketing and Sales Department in executing promotional campaigns, social media strategies, event planning, and content creation for our website and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for media and TV, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple folks to achieve marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on key performance metrics for sales, marketing campaigns, providing recommendations for optimization and improvement.
· Lead Generation: Assist in lead & growth generation strategy.
· CRM Management: Update and manage on a regular basis.
· Campaign Management: Assist in the planning and execution of sales initiatives and marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and other channels to promote programming, events, rentals and brand initiatives.
· Content Creation & Coordination: Support the creation of marketing materials, including graphics, videos, press releases, and digital content, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and guidelines.
· Social Media Management: Coordinate and schedule social media posts, monitor engagement, and provide reports on performance across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
· Market Research: Conduct research to gather insights into audience preferences, market trends, and competitive landscape, assisting in the development of marketing strategies.
· Promotional and Sponsorship Support: Help organize and execute promotional initiatives, sponsorships, and activations, ensuring smooth logistics and a positive brand presence.
· Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (production, sales, technical, admin, etc.) to align marketing efforts with company goals and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
· Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support, such as maintaining schedules, preparing presentations, and coordinating meetings or calls with external partners.
Qualifications:
· Currently enrolled or graduated from a Post-Secondary Program in Sales & Marketing, Broadcast Television (With Business Stream), Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
· 1-2 years of experience or education in marketing, preferably within the media, television, or entertainment industry, an asset.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
· Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), or or similar tools (Canva), or sales platform Zoho, is a plus.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
· Creative, self-motivated, and proactive in taking initiative.
· A passion for television and entertainment is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with marketing automation tools or CRM platforms.
· Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.).
· Basic understanding of Broadcast TV, media or production workflows.
· Knowledge of trends in digital media and the entertainment industry.
