Position: Estimator
As an Estimator at Higgins Hardscape, you’ll be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of hardscape projects and creating detailed proposals. This role demands strong analytical skills, project management expertise, and effective negotiation abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construction estimating, including quantity take-offs, cost management, communication, and budgeting on a day-to-day basis.
- Monitor the market to identify new tender opportunities.
- Attend site meetings for notes and imaging.
- Review all tender documents and read all specification sheets.
- Help gather sub contractor pricing on tenders.
- Quantity take offs on materials for the tender.
- Obtain and complete all bonding requirements and bid submission documents to assist in commercial tenders.
- Prepare schedules for engineers and city
- Has experience bidding $1,000,000+ in revenue size jobs
Requirements:
- Proficiency in LMN and Dynascape.
- Ability to read grading plans.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience estimating in construction or landscaping.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
