St. Joseph High School is seeking a dynamic, faith-filled Youth Minister to serve as a spiritual bridge within our community. Based out of St. Joseph High School, the successful candidate will provide pastoral leadership to high school students while specifically nurturing the spiritual growth of students and staff within our Middle School Feeder Schools.
This role is designed to foster a seamless transition of faith, ensuring that the Ministries of Christ are articulated and felt across the entire St. Joseph pathway. You will fulfill a vital pastoral role, reporting to the School Principal and working with priests, parents, and the Superintendent of Faith Development to build a vibrant, unified Catholic community.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary spiritual link between St. Joseph High School and its middle school feeder schools, creating a sense of belonging for future high school students.

Develop and implement a comprehensive Pastoral Plan including school masses, daily prayer, liturgical celebrations, and retreats across the feeder pathway.

Act as a visible role model, sharing your personal witness and providing mentorship to students navigating their spiritual and human development.

Work closely with local priests and the diocese to bridge the gap between school life and sacramental parish life.

Build the capacity of staff to integrate a Catholic worldview into their classrooms, collaborating with the Faith Permeation Lead Teacher.

Lead the school community in social justice initiatives and works of mercy that reflect Catholic Social Teachings.

Strong public speaking, writing, and organizational skills.

Availability for a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends for retreats and parish-related youth events
