Inner City Diesel Ltd. (ICD) is excited to announce we are seeking Pump Operators to join our team! This position is in located on a remote site with an attractive 14 day rotation, working 12 hour shifts. This is a camp position that is fly in/fly out from Calgary or Edmonton Hub.
If you are local to Fort McMurray, you are still required to stay in camp the full rotation.

Responsibilities:
- Monitoring pump operation to ensure that it is operating properly and efficiently
- Cleaning and inspecting pumps for signs of wear or damage
- Adjusting pump speeds to regulate flow rates in accordance with set standards or specifications
- Maintaining record, permits of all activities related to pump operation and maintenance
- Operating a computerized control system to monitor pump performance and adjust settings as needed
- Operating a variety of pumps, including vacuum and centrifugal pumps, as well as intake, discharge, and lift pumps in a wide range of industries
- Assist in rigging up and down of sites
- Keep the work area clean and safe
- Driving in the mine on active haul roads
- Participate in Safe Work Practices, HSE meetings, including inspecting vehicles, tools, equipment, and PPE
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience with dewatering pumps
- Experience in a mine environment
- Able to repeatedly lift twenty-three (23) kilograms (50lbs)
- Always demonstrate safety
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working in a pipeline environment
- Experience operating fluid pumps and related equipment
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with diverse individuals and groups.

Successful candidates must provide the following items prior to confirmation of their start date:
- Comprehensive alcohol and drug test clearance letter
- Copy of valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Copy of current 3-year clean driver’s abstract
- Copies of training certificates

This includes, but is not limited to, following Safe Work practices and procedures, attending safety meetings and toolbox talks, understanding and navigating our digital safety application (SiteDocs), completing FLRA’s, using PPE, inspection of vehicles, tools, and equipment, and more.
