Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Graphic Designer. This exciting opportunity involves creating engaging visual content for digital and print platforms to support organizational campaigns, events, and communications initiatives. Ideal candidates should have a passion for graphic design, creativity, visual storytelling, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.

Design promotional materials for MAC events and programs, including posters, flyers, social media graphics, banners, and presentations.

Create visually engaging content aligned with MAC’s branding and communication standards.

Collaborate with the Communications department to support campaigns and organizational initiatives.

Assist in developing graphics for websites, newsletters, and digital platforms and various communications projects.

Edit and format existing visual materials as needed.

Organize and maintain design files and branding assets in a systematic manner.

Identify opportunities to improve visual communication and propose creative design solutions.

Support media and communications projects during events and community activities.

Ensure all designs are completed within project timelines and deadlines.

Strong interest in graphic design, branding, and visual communications.

Background and experience in graphic design.

Willingness to learn and undergo training.

Experience using graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of video editing or motion graphics is an asset.

Knowledge of WordPress and social media platforms is an asset.

Good computer skills and attention to detail.

Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.

Creative mindset with a proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Familiarity with local MAC events and an understanding of the organization’s mission would be preferable.
