TIG Welder Operator job description:
Legend Fleet Solutions manufactures interior protection products for cargo vans across Canada, the USA, and Europe. We’re a growing company looking for a skilled TIG Welder Operator to support our production team. This hands-on role focuses on TIG welding and fabrication of high-quality components used in our products. You’ll work as part of a team to meet production goals while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Previous TIG welding experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and job instructions
- Weld, assemble, and fabricate parts according to specifications
- Inspect finished welds and components for quality and accuracy
- Perform basic grinding, fitting, and finishing work as required
- Maintain welding equipment and work area in clean, safe working condition
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist team members and support production needs as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Minimum 3 years of TIG (GTAW) welding experience, preferably on stainless steel and aluminum
- Completion of a welding program or equivalent hands-on experience
- Valid CWB certification (asset; required for certain projects)
- Red Seal Welder certification considered an asset
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Physically able to lift 50-80 lbs and work in various positions
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Legally eligible to work in Canada

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
