Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment by performing cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly. This role is essential in supporting the overall maintenance and presentation of our commercial spaces, contributing to a positive experience for employees and visitors alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and fixtures in accordance with established procedures
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding health and safety guidelines
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a hygienic environment
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
