Job Description – Sales Representative for WashUp Car Detailing (Ajax)

The job is to make sales for the WashUp car detailing business. Your role is to promote our services and find customers who want their cars detailed. You can do this by promoting the business online (such as through social media or community groups) or by going door-to-door in neighborhoods.
Once you secure a customer, you will record the sale and pass the booking to the WashUp team. Regions in Ajax will be assigned so you know where to focus your sales efforts.
This position is commission-based. You will earn 20% commission for each sale you make, depending on the car and the detailing package sold. If you sell a package for more than the listed price, you keep the extra amount. The more customers you bring in, the more money you can earn.
Duties
- Greet potential customers and introduce WashUp car detailing services
- Explain different detailing packages and what each service includes
- Promote services through online marketing or door-to-door outreach in assigned regions
- Use upselling techniques to encourage customers to choose higher detailing packages
- Record and report sales once a booking is secured
- Communicate clearly with customers about pricing, services, and available promotions
- Answer customer questions and address concerns professionally
- Maintain good communication with the WashUp team about new bookings
Experience
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or marketing is an advantage but not required
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Confidence speaking with customers in person or online
- Good time management and organization skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Compensation
- 20% commission on every sale you make
