Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, taking food and beverage orders, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of hospitality standards. Prior experience with POS systems such as Clover POS is preferred. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems, including Clover POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations to maintain hygiene standards
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including bar and dining spaces
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations as needed
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently
- Experience in serving and bartending roles is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Present on Social Media is an asset
