Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and professional Funeral Director to join our dedicated team. The Funeral Director will be responsible for conducting funeral services, providing support to grieving families, and ensuring that all arrangements are handled with dignity and respect. This role requires a strong sense of empathy, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a sensitive environment. This is an on call position
Duties
- Coordinate and oversee funeral services from start to finish, ensuring all arrangements meet family wishes and company standards
- Provide compassionate support and guidance to grieving families throughout the entire process
- Manage administrative tasks such as documentation, permits, and legal paperwork related to funerals
- Supervise the transportation of remains for burial or cremation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Valid Ontario drivers licence
- Valid Funeral Director licence (FD1 ) or (FD2)
- Must be available Saturdays
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle emotionally challenging situations with professionalism and empathy

Pay: $50.00-$70.00 per hour
