Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in providing excellent food service. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and contribute to a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly to support co-workers
- Handle food items safely, following proper food handling procedures
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and basic dishes under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Serve food to customers in a timely manner
- Help with dishwashing, waste disposal, and restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Support the overall operation of the kitchen during busy service hours
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures is beneficial
- Experience working in the food industry or with food handling equipment will be considered a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
