Purpose
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the FP&A Analyst supports financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. This role will partner with operations, geology, and executive leadership to provide actionable financial insights in a dynamic, capital-intensive environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain annual budgets and multi-year financial plans
- Prepare rolling forecasts incorporating commodity price assumptions, production volumes, and cost trends
- Support mine project financial planning and capital allocation analysis
Financial Analysis
- Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and identify key drivers
- Analyze production costs, operating efficiencies, and capital expenditures
- Evaluate financial performance across sites and projects
Reporting
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior leadership
- Build dashboards and KPIs focused on operational and financial performance
- Support board reporting and investor presentations
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and commercial teams
- Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives and cost optimization
- Assist with scenario planning (commodity prices, production levels, expansion projects)
Financial Modeling
- Build and maintain project valuation models (NPV, IRR, sensitivity analysis)
- Support M&A, new project evaluation, and investment decisions

Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related role
- Experience in mining, energy, or capital-intensive industries preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- CPA, CFA, or progress toward designation considered an asset

Pay: $105,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
