Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Micros POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring quick and correct processing
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, following proper food handling and sanitation protocols
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing via POS systems
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and kitchen workspace
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food industry practices
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to serve guests promptly while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with serving and cashiering roles is a plus
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order entry and payment processing
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
