Description:
A new high-end collision and detailing facility at Kennedy & Sheppard is seeking a skilled Detailer with experience in ceramic coating and paint protection film (PPF) application. This is an opportunity to work with premium products in a modern facility, delivering showroom-quality finishes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full interior and exterior detailing to a high standard
- Apply ceramic coatings to manufacturer specifications
- Install paint protection film (PPF) on vehicles with precision and minimal imperfection
- Conduct paint correction, polishing, and buffing to prepare surfaces
- Wash, decontaminate, and prep vehicles ahead of coating and film application
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain detailing equipment and keep the work area clean and organized
- Advise on aftercare and maintenance for coated and filmed vehicles
Requirements:
- Proven experience in auto detailing, with specific experience in ceramic coating and/or PPF
- Steady hands and meticulous attention to detail — PPF and ceramic work demand precision
- Knowledge of paint correction and polishing techniques
- Understanding of surface prep and decontamination
- Reliable, professional, and quality-focused
Nice to Have:
- Manufacturer certifications in ceramic coatings (e.g., Ceramic Pro, Gtechniq, XPEL, SunTek)
- PPF installation certification (XPEL, 3M, SunTek, STEK)
- Experience with high-end, luxury, or exotic vehicles
- Knowledge of tint application
Pay: $40,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
