What you’ll do
You’ll work across commercial, industrial, mining, institutional, and other customer sites, installing, inspecting, testing, maintaining, repairing, and certifying fire protection equipment and systems aligned with your experience and training. Responsibilities may include:
- Inspecting and maintaining fire protection equipment and systems
- Performing mechanical and/or electrical testing
- Repairing, replacing, and certifying components
- Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and manuals
- Evaluating customer needs and recommending practical solutions
- Completing documentation, reports, and daily work records
- Communicating professionally with customers and internal teams
- Mentoring junior technicians where appropriate
- Participating in overtime, travel, or on-call rotations as required
What you bring
- 2+ years of field experience inspecting, testing, maintaining, repairing, or installing fire protection equipment or systems
- Experience in one or more fire protection disciplines, such as fire alarm, vehicle fire suppression, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, marine, kitchen suppression, or special hazards
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
- A safety-first mindset and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, professionally, and with customers
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel, work at remote sites, and participate in overtime or on-call work where required
