Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscaper/Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various outdoor landscaping and construction projects, ensuring the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. Duties
- Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Operate hand tools and power tools for trimming, edging, and general maintenance
- Use mechanical equipment such as excavators for digging and site preparation
- Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, fertilizing, and weed control
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and perform basic mechanical repairs or maintenance as needed
- Ensure work sites are safe, clean, and organized at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is advantageous
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work as part of a team
- Construction experience or background in related trades is beneficial
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on job assignments
