Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver/Equipment Operator to join our team. This role involves operating heavy machinery, transporting materials, and supporting various construction or mining projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment efficiently. Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, or debris to designated sites
- Safely operate heavy equipment including loaders, skid steers and excavators when necessary and as needed
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trucks and equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations during transportation and operation of equipment
- Maintain accurate logs of work hours, materials transported, and equipment usage
- Support site preparation and cleanup activities to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, specifically operating dump trucks and heavy equipment
- Knowledge of forklift operation and freight handling is a plus
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot mechanical issues on trucks and equipment if needed would be an asset
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy machinery operation and transportation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory depending on job requirements
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of operating heavy machinery for extended periods

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
