Field Manager (Vancouver Island - Afterhours)
The Field Manager reports to the Mobile Manager and is responsible for overseeing Paladin's after-hours field operations, ensuring our contractual obligations are consistently met through effective coordination with the Paladin 24/7 Operations Centre, Mobile Division, and frontline Security Officers.
This role provides operational leadership and support to security staff working in the field, responding to emergencies, maintaining service quality, conducting site audits, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service, safety, and operational excellence.

Manage after-hours field operations in coordination with the Paladin 24/7 Operations Centre, Mobile Division, and Operations Management.

Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and mentorship to Static and Mobile Security Officers.

Respond to operational issues, emergencies, client concerns, and employee support requests.

Conduct quality assurance visits and site inspections to ensure contractual compliance and service excellence.

Complete site audits to verify compliance with Occupational Health & Safety requirements, technology standards, documentation, and site procedures.

Conduct site risk assessments and recommend operational improvements.

Support Mobile Supervisors with coordinating patrols and operational priorities.

Coordinate with Scheduling to address staffing shortages and ensure appropriate officer coverage.

Prepare daily operational reports, incident reports, inspection reports, and recommendations for management.

Develop and update post orders, memos, training materials, and operational documentation as required.

Deliver operational supplies and documentation to client sites when needed.

Conduct preliminary investigations into workplace incidents, employee misconduct, and Occupational Health & Safety concerns.

Coach employees through performance concerns and administer corrective or disciplinary action when appropriate.

Support Client Service Managers and Security Programs Managers by completing operational assignments, conducting site reviews, and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Assist with the setup and logistical support of temporary contracts, special events, and emergency deployments.

Ensure Security Officers are properly trained, equipped, and understand their site-specific duties and Paladin's service expectations.

Previous supervisory or management experience in the security industry preferred.

Valid BC Security Worker Licence.

Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.

Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Strong decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and report writing.

Ability to work independently while supporting a large operational team.
Permanent Schedule:

6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Additional hours may be available to support operational requirements, special events, or emergency situations.
