Senior Technical Business Analyst – API Integrations

What is in it for you:

- Incorporated Business Rate: $74-84 per hour.
- 6-month contract.
- Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
- Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
- Hybrid work with 3 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Define API requirements and integration specifications.
- Document data flows and mappings from source to transformation to target.
- Translate business pricing rules into technical requirements.
- Collaborate with pricing, analytics, and engineering teams.
- Write detailed user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Support user acceptance testing, release planning, and production validation.
What you will need to succeed:
- 10+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in system integration or API programs.
- Experience defining API requirements, contracts, and data flows.
- Strong expertise in data mapping from source to transformation to target.
- Ability to translate business rules into clear technical specifications.
- Experience writing detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience in banking, mortgage, or pricing and rate systems is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with segmentation models or analytics-driven use cases is considered an asset.
- Experience working with analytics, data science, or other data-focused teams is considered an asset.
- Exposure to API design standards, including REST conventions and versioning, is considered an asset.
- Experience supporting user acceptance testing and production rollouts is considered an asset.
