Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Maker/Pizza Cook to join our vibrant new location team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent food service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to food safety and quality is essential. The Pizza Maker/Pizza Cook will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas from scratch, ensuring all dishes meet our high standards, and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards
- Cook pizzas to perfection using various methods such as ovens or grills
- Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are followed in accordance with health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work area
- Assist in food preparation for other menu items as needed
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders when necessary
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages
- Follow all safety protocols during food preparation and cooking processes
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is required at least 6 months
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
- Basic understanding of serving, meal preparation, and food industry best practices
